When receiving Holy Communion the Clergy or the Ministers will say, “The Body of Christ.” The correct reply to that statement is simply “Amen”.

No other response should be said. The simple “Amen” says it all for us! It means, “Yes, absolutely, I agree it is the Body of Christ!” it also means, “It is true!” “Truly!”
