CAFOD Harvest Family Fast Day Collection

There will be collections after Mass next weekend Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th October. We are invited to share the abundant gifts of our loving God with our global neighbours so that they can find lasting solutions to poverty and climate challenges. You will hear Ware’s story next weekend at Mass. Her life was profoundly changed when a water tank was built for her village in Ethiopia. She had previously had to walk for hours in a day to get fresh water for her young family. Your generosity offers ‘signs of hope’ in this Jubilee year for more communities like Ware’s. Donations can be made at after Mass collections, online at cafod.org.uk/envelope or on the Dona machine in the porch. Please pray for the work and the workers of CAFOD and Caritas. Thank you.

CAFOD Supper

We will be having a light evening meal in aid of CAFOD Family Fast Day on Saturday 4th October 4th at 7:00pm in St Mary & St Michael School Hall (after 6:00pm Mass).

Soup and bread will be provided but you are invited to bring a light plate. There will also be some activities for the children and we will be doing a quiz for the adults.
