Bishop Philip has asked that we have a proper confessional that fulfils Safeguarding requirements and is a permanent and place for the Sacrament. It is difficult to know where to place this, but one idea is to use the room opposite the Sacristy. This would involve putting an extra door for access for the penitent. I hope to have a plan of this soon so you can air your views. If you have any other ideas about where a permanent confessional could be placed please let me know.
