The retiring collection next weekend is for Education Sunday. Education Sunday is marked this year on 8th September. The money donated will be for the upkeep of our two Catholic primary schools, St Mary & St Michael and Notre Dame du Rosaire. This collection helps us greatly as we receive no funding from the States of Guernsey for the upkeep of the school buildings. Thank you for your most generous donations in past years. Money received on Education Sunday remains in the Island and is spent on our two schools.
