For centuries the Shroud of Turin has fascinated both Christians and scientists. This linen cloth venerated by many as the burial cloth of Jesus Christ has mystified scholars and believers alike. First unveiled in the 1350s this image has been the subject of intense debate and research in order to map out its origins and authenticity. Now for one week only a remarkable exhibition will be visiting Guernsey which will highlight the shrouds extraordinary history.
Among the exhibits shown will be a 15ft life size replica of the shroud.
