A taste of Malawi on Friday 27th October at 7:00pm at Capelles Methodist Church, to promote work being done in Malawi through Christian Aid and other charities in Guernsey. The evening is free with food available using Pigeon Pea recipes (which is a staple diet in Malawi) as well as tea and coffee (Fairtrade of course!!). There will be an opportunity to hear Yvonne Penn talking about the work being done by Christian Aid in Malawi and also to meet representatives of other charities also working in that country. Donations on the night split between Solar Aid & Christian Aid Further details on noticeboards at back of church.
