Bishop Philip Letter

Bishop Philip Letter

During Lent, I invite you to join me for three online Lent Reflections! I will broadcast the Lent Reflections as a webinar on Thursdays 2nd, 9th and 16th March at 7:30 pm, each lasting about 40 minutes. In each Reflection, I will share some personal thoughts on one of the three theological virtues, in order (1) Faith, (2) Hope and then (3) Charity. Each Reflection will begin with a short period of prayer. The Lenten Reflections are open to all and everyone can register: see below. Based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church 1812 -1845, I will explore each virtue as a gift of God that stirs us towards personal happiness and animates our moral lives. Whilst drawing on my own experiences as a priest and bishop, I will also explore the role of religion in life and the future of the Church in our Diocese and our ten-year plan You Will be My Witnesses. Numbers are limited so sign up now.

(Please note that you have to register for each webinar separately – so why not do it all now in one go?!). You can register for the first webinar (2nd March at 7:30pm)
