Laudato Si

Fix the food systems with East Africa facing its worst drought in over 40 years the decades of inadequate action to address the climate crisis can no longer be ignored.

CAFOD is campaigning the UK government to keep the promises it made at the COP26 climate talks last year about the agricultural systems that tackle the climate crisis as well putting local communities first.

At a time of crisis these impacts are mostly felt in low income families at home as well. We can’t influence UK decisions but can make our feelings known to GUERNSEY OVERSEAS AID and DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE to use Guernsey’s overseas aid budget to fund agricultural projects that tackle the climate crisis and put local communities first.
