The Diocese of Portsmouth have requested that the Safeguarding Representatives do an Audit on all Church Volunteers to see if their Disclosure & Barring Service Certificates (DBS) are up to date.
The Safeguarding Representatives have a special responsibility for promoting good and safe practices in all activities involving Children, Young People and Adults at Risk.
If you are no longer a volunteer the Safeguarding Reps would appreciate you letting us know so that your name can be removed from the list, BUT, if you feel you may consider volunteering again in the future we would like to keep your name on the system.
Please contact via email to – Paul Robilliard (firstname.lastname@example.org) & Bridget Cowens (email@example.com)
If you are a Volunteer and your DBS Certificate is out of date you will be contacted shortly and asked to complete the New Online DBS Application Forms. Please do not be concerned if you do not have access to a computer as other arrangements can be made.
The Parishes are very grateful to our Volunteers Past and Present and appreciate all that you do for the good of the Church Community.
