In Laudato Si Pope Francis asks us to seek a new attitude of heart, one which approaches life with serene attentiveness (Laudato Si 226/227)
“One expression of this attitude is when we stop and give thanks to God before and after meals. I ask all believers to return to this beautiful and meaningful custom.”

Last Saturday’s pilgrimage from Lihou to St Appoline Chapel – Despite not very promising weather 47 people came.
We were a truly ecumenical group, walking, praying and chatting together and finishing with a beautiful service at the chapel with tea and cake afterwards to complete a joyful occasion.
