Street Pastors

Each Friday and Saturday night an interdenominational group of volunteers spend time in St Peter Port assisting people who may need a little help after having spent the evening “partying”. They meet in the Town Church vestry at 10.30pm and in groups of three they walk around the town until approx. 2.30am. There is a rota system so that individuals would take part once/twice per month. They distribute bottled water/lollipops/flip-flops/plasters as and when necessary. Representatives from various churches participate in this work and the group would very much like volunteers over the age of 18 from the Catholic Church.
