Fundraising Sale on Sunday 25th March in St Joseph’s Hall following 10.30am Mass
One of our young 12 year old parishioners (ex Notre Dame School) and two other friends from St Sampson’s High are taking part in the Channel Island Student Business Challenge 2018. Teams of students aged between 11 and 16 start up and run their own business for 12 weeks. They are learning skills along the way and supporting charities.
Times and Places (the name of their business) have chosen to give 30% of their final profit to DKMS (a blood cancer charity). They chose DKMS in support for a young local Blanchelande boy who is going through treatment in the UK at present for blood cancer. They will be selling Handmade Pallet clocks, bird feeders, CD clocks, bottle top magnets & Mounted Images of Guernsey.
