SAFEGUARDING AWARENESS TRAINING – SATURDAY 14th MAY 2016
Maureen Wiltshire, Safeguarding Trainer from Portsmouth will be holding two Training Sessions on Saturday 14th May in St. Joseph’s Parish Hall. The first session will take place at 10.30am – 12.30pm for Volunteers involved with Vulnerable Adults, the Elderly & Home Visitors.
The Child Protection & Safeguarding session is from 2.00pm – 4.00pm.
It is important that those working with Vulnerable Adults and Children’s Groups attend training sessions, hence it becoming mandatory and we need to be consistent across the Diocese in these matters. These sessions will be of benefit to all our Volunteers and held in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere,
You are welcome to attend both sessions. Please do come along and support the day, it is open to all parishioners.
Please return the tear-off slip with your name and place it in the box at the back of the Churches marked “SAFEGUARDING AWARENESS”.
