Youth Sunday — featuring “true survivor” Will Hince
Overnight Saturday 21st–Sunday 22nd November at St Mary & St Michael school & Our Lady Star of the Sea church
For Youth Sunday this year we’ll be joined by Will Hince. Will leads survival expeditions in the New Forest, where he teaches not only how we can survive in the wild, but also how our faith can survive and flourish in our world. He’ll be showing us how to light a flame in the outdoors, and start a fire for God in our hearts. We’re really excited that we’ll have him with us!
There will be separate streams for Year 6–7 and Year 8–13. We’ll start at 2pm on the Saturday by putting on an afternoon tea party for the elderly and housebound, have an afternoon of activities including art, dance and drama, and culminating in an evening service of mercy to which the whole parish is invited, then an overnight sleepover with God and finish after 9:30am Mass on Sunday. It’s going to be epic!
Book by Sunday 8th November.
