First Holy Communion 2012
Parents of children in Year 3 and above who wish their child to receive First Holy Communion next summer are invited to attend a meeting in St Joseph’s Hall on Tuesday 15th November at 7.00pm. There are some changes to the way the preparation programme will be delivered in order to bring us into line with the recommendations of the Diocesan Department for Pastoral Formation. These changes will be explained at the meeting. Parents of children attending non- Catholic schools are asked to contact Sister Carmel, tel 720729, before this meeting.

National Youth Sunday
20th November Save the date! If you want to help organise, there will be a planning meet- ing on Thursday 8th September at St. Joseph’s.

St Joseph’s Hall Kitchen
We currently have 4 willing people to help keep the kitchen clean and tidy once a month. However, if we had 4 more people for the rota that would mean that each couple would only have to help once every 4 months!

St Joseph’s: 10.30-11.00am Our Lady Star of the Sea: 5. 30-6. 00pm Notre Dame: 6. 30pm (after 5. 30 Mass)

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrement

Children’s Masses
The next masses will be held in Our Lady Star of the Sea at 9.30am and in St Joseph’s at 10.30am next Sunday, 3rd April.

First Reconciliation Service
Will take place on Saturday 26th March at 2.30pm in Our Lady Star of the Sea; the following weekend the same service will take place at St Joseph’s at 2.30pm.

Youth workers and young people
Mary Cahill, the Youth worker for the Catholic Church in Jersey, will be giving a presentation of her work on Tuesday 29th March at 7pm at St Joseph’s.
