A total of £750 has been sent to the Diocesan Priest’s Retirement Fund.

Also, £350 was made at the cake sale in St Joseph’s Hall for the Madeiran Disaster Fund. Thank you to everyone who made cakes and supported.

His purpose for this year  is to encourage priests in their “striving for  spiritual perfection on which, above all, the effectiveness of their ministry depends” and to highlight “the importance of the priest’s role and mission in the Church and in contemporary society”.

There will be a Holy Hour in St Joseph’s Church from 7.30 – 8.30pm each Wednesday to pray for Priests.
