<p>The pilgrimage is open to people of all ages and abilities. A special invitation to young helpers (aged 17+) to join us and help fellow pilgrims who require assistance.<span id="more-1867"></span></p>
<p>Information evenings are being held across the diocese, the first being on 22nd February at the Cathedral Discovery Centre, Portsmouth.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Many of you who knew Father Peter from his time as an assistant priest here in Guernsey in the 1990s will have been saddened to hear of his death on 14th January after a long battle with cancer of the liver. He was 46 years old.<span id="more-1823"></span></p>
<p><strong>We will have a memorial Mass here in Guernsey for him this coming Tuesday, 25th January at 7.00pm in <a href="http://catholic.org.gg/churches/st-joseph-st-mary/">St Joseph’s Church</a>.</strong></p>
<p>His funeral will take place on Friday 28th January at 11.00am in <a href="http://www.portsmouthcatholiccathedral.org.uk/">Portsmouth Cathedral</a>.</p>
