Guernsey Pastoral Council met on 20th January (postponed because of bad weather). Matters discussed were:

Continuation of refurbishment of the parish rooms;
Christmas Lottery;
dates of future meetings;
open-air parish Mass; and
parish meal.

The minutes of the November meeting can now be viewed on the noticeboards. The next meeting will be on 10th February.

Any items, concerns you may wish discussed please give in writing to the Secretary, GPC, ℅ Ampthill House.

Lottery Draw

By now the lucky winners will have been drawn. Thank you to everyone for buying tickets and supporting the Lottery.

A special thank you to Eileen Baird for promoting the lottery and to Eamonn Finnerty and the members of the Pastoral Council who have been busy selling tickets over the last few weeks.

Christmas Lottery Draw

The draw will take place on Friday 11th December 2009 in St Joseph’s Hall at 8.00pm

The £3,000 first prize will be drawn at 8.30pm followed by the £1,000 and £500 prizes. Free glass of wine/soft drinks and nibbles.

Christmas Lottery

The Pastoral Council is running a Christmas Lottery to raise funds for the refurbishment of the Parish Rooms.

The prizes are:

1st Prize: £3,000
2nd Prize: £1,000
3rd Prize: £500

Tickets are £30 each and there are only 500 tickets. They will be sold after each Mass from 24th October on a first come first served basis.

The draw will take place at a reception in the Parish Hall on Friday 11th December at 8:30pm.
