The walk will start at St Stephen’s Church, Les Gravées, at 11am, and conclude at the Town Church at around 12:30pm.

Anyone may join at any point on on the route as follows:

1. St. Stephen’s, Les Gravées;
2. St. Joseph’s, Cordier Hill;
3. St. Andrew’s in the Grange;
4. Spurgeon Baptist Church, Clifton;
5. Friends Meeting House, Clifton;
6. Salvation Army Hall, Clifton;
7. Eldad Elim Church, Union Street;
8. Notre Dame du Rosaire, Burnt Lane;
9. Car park in Back Lane;
10. Holy Trinity Church, Trinity Square;
11. The Town Church.

The walk will be in silence and at each stop there will be a sentence of Scripture, a short reading, silence and a prayer. A cross will be carried as an act of witness. All are welcome.

The Concert is at the Town Church on Saturday 27th March at 7.30pm. A retiring collection will be taken for the renovation of the Church.

Join us this Lent for the Way of the Cross to be held at the Little Chapel, in Lourdes style procession with candles, singing on the way. Start time 7.00pm.

Please meet outside the clockmakers and do bring torches as there is no outside lighting.

There should be plenty of parking at the Little Chapel car park or the school grounds.

If the weather is bad the main School Hall will be at our disposal thanks to Blanchelande College.

Please use this Service as an opportunity to make your Easter Confession.

Following the success of last year’s walk, there will be a parish cliff walk next Saturday.

We will be leaving Pleinmont car park (Perry’s Guide page 32 C4) at 8.00am and walking to Petit Bot (about 11.30am) where we will stop for a picnic lunch (please bring your own food). Those who wish can continue the walk on to town.

Fridays:

7.00pm in St Joseph’s
(except on 26th March);

Saturdays:

5.00pm before the 5.30pm Mass at Notre Dame.

Most of us usually give up something for Lent like biscuits, wine, a big dinner on a Friday. This year why not create some amazing changes for people who live in the developing world by giving the money saved to CAFOD?

The money you save by missing out on your favourite biscuits each day, for example, could go towards a bicycle to help a health volunteer take food to orphaned children.

Attached to this weeks Link is an envelope which you can use for your Fast Day offerings or at any time during Lent. Please return the envelopes either at the retiring collection next week or at any time during Lent.

Each Friday during Lent a different charity will be supported.
