During the school holidays there will be no Children’s Liturgy at St Joseph’s until Sunday 4th September. Additional Leaders or Assistants are needed – please contact Bridget Cowens T el:701398 or email: cowens@cwgsy.net for the relevant safeguarding paperwork which will need to be completed.

There will be a training day for all involved with leading and helping with Children’s Liturgy in our 3 churches and also for anyone in- terested in joining. Monika Chmelova from the Diocesan Department of Pastoral Formation will run the course on Saturday 10th September from 10. 00am to 3. 30pm in St Joseph’s Hall. For further details please contact the Parish Office.

UCM Afternoon Tea Party

The UCM would like to say a huge thank you to all of those who gave so generously to the UCM Afternoon Tea Party which was held for the residents and sisters of Le Platon on the 6th December. Without your donations we could not have hosted this special event.

A big thank you to St. Joseph’s Children’s Liturgy Group who performed a Nativity play and sang Christmas Carols.

Finally thanks to Mrs Salisbury for assisting with the music and to Mr Salisbury who drove the residents to and from the Tea Party.

Do you have children attending 10.30am Mass?

If so we would very much like to meet you.

We would like to hear you and your children’s views and ideas on how we can make sure that our children learn and enjoy their own special time in Church.

In order to do this we need to have a rota system to make sure we have sufficient adults in attendance.
