DVD course during Lent
A new DVD course has been produced by CaFE (Catholic faith evangelisation) entitled ‘ The Saints, Helping us T oday’. This consists of 6 sessions about the lives of 6 different saints, and their relevance to our modern world. This will be shown on W ednesda ys in the Youth room at St. Joseph’s. Each session will start with tea and coffee, at 7.30pm, and will be finished by 9pm. The second session is this Wednesday, March 7th, and is about St. Benedict. It doesn’t matter if you missed the first week – everyone is welcome!
Parish Family Recipes
During Lent we would like to collect recipes which are special to the families of the parish. We will put these into a booklet which will then be sold at the Pentecost Vigil celebration. Money raised will then go to Le Platon Home. So if you have a favourite or special recipe please e-mail or send it to the Parish Office or give it to Father Stan.
